But in fact, the final form of BIPV in the future must be "building materials", that is, the photovoltaic modules are completely integrated with building materials, and there is almost no difference in appearance, which fully meets the needs of architecture for aesthetics.
In order to meet the needs of "building materials" of BIPV, thin-film BIPV is bound to become the natural choice. It is conceivable that building material BIPV will put more demands on photovoltaic modules, such as being able to bend to fit different building shapes, or changing different colors to conform to the overall appearance design of the building. These are conditions that crystalline silicon modules are difficult to meet. , With the further development of BIPV technology, it is foreseeable that crystalline silicon BIPV will become the transitional choice for thin film BIPV.
